October 10th was a warm, easy day in the mountains. I spent most of the day posted up near the Chains Required sign, shooting from my favorite inside angle as riders came through the main turn. At that point, I wasn’t moving around much—focusing instead on consistency, timing, and letting the day unfold naturally. I was still learning faces and names, recognizing riders by their helmets and Instagram handles more than anything else. Nothing dramatic, nothing rushed—just a fun, steady day and images built from a single perspective I know well.
