The Story…

All this started because I was curious.
I was curious about what made a whip—what it was, how it worked, and what it could do. That simple curiosity sparked something in a middle school kid who couldn’t stop wondering.

I started with what I had—rope, tape, and a whole lot of imagination. I made rough versions, tore them apart, rebuilt them, and did it all over again. Through high school I kept refining, trying to figure out how to make something that felt right. Eventually, in college, I learned how to truly braid a whip—and that’s when everything changed.

That curiosity grew into a craft, and that craft became a business.
Eliason Whip Co. was born out of a love for building something by hand, something that moves with purpose. Every whip I make still carries that same spark of discovery that started it all.

But I always wanted something a little different too—something that captured the adventure behind the craft. That’s where Isaac’s SideQuest comes in. It’s the space where I get to explore, tell stories, meet people, and chase new experiences. Whether I’m on the bike, out with Otto, or behind the camera, it’s all part of the same journey: learning, creating, and living curiously.

At the heart of it all, I’m still that same kid who just wanted to know how it all worked—only now, the adventure’s bigger.
